YCM’s International Mediation and Negotiation Competition, 2024

About the Competition:

International Mediation and Negotiation Competition, 2024 is being organized by YCM from 2nd to 4th August, 2024. YCM is India’s first trainer and service provider for dispute resolution and provides training in mediation, dispute prevention, conflict resolution and conflict management. The Competition provides a great opportunity for students to interact with students from various countries and hone their mediation and negotiation skills. The theme of the competition is ‘Everyone Wins’ i.e., every participant will be a winner and be awarded.

Mode of Competition:

Online via Zoom Platform.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of any discipline across the globe are eligible to participate.

Each Team must contain three members- Client and counsel pair (Negotiating Team) and a Mediator.

Important Dates:

Last date to register: 26 July

Orientation and Training: 2 Aug (5:00 pm- 7:30 pm)

Multiple Choice Quiz: 3 Aug (11:00 am- 12:15 pm)

Mediation and Negotiation Rounds: 3 Aug (3:00 pm- 5:00 pm)
Award Ceremony: 4 Aug (3:00 pm- 5:00 pm)

Parts of Competition:

The competition will be in 2 parts:

1. Multiple choice quiz

2. Mediation and Negotiation Rounds

All participants have to complete both parts.

How to Register?

Teams shall fill registration form along with the payment of registration fees by latest 26th July.

Awards:

1. 32 awards and titles for all mediators.

2. 32 awards and titles for all negotiating pairs.

3. Top Performers will get internships and co- mediation opportunities.
