NITI Aayog Internship 2025

Undergraduate/postgraduate students or research scholars enrolled in recognized universities/institutions in India and abroad can apply for the NITI Aayog Internship Scheme. They will work closely with NITI’s verticals/divisions/cells. Applicants will have to apply online by filling up the registration form.

  • Eligibility: Undergraduate/postgraduate students or research scholars enrolled in recognized universities/institutions in India and abroad can apply for the NITI Aayog Internship Scheme.

  • Mode of Internship: On-site.

  • Location: New Delhi.

  • Duration: The period of the Internship shall be at least six weeks but not exceeding six months. Interns not completing the requisite period will not be issued any certificate.

  • Dates: The online application link is open from 1-10 of every month.

  • Stipend: No Stipend

2. The Competition Commission of India Internship Programme 2025

Internship programme of CCI aims to equip students with practical working of competition law. As CCI has a very important role to play in economy being market regulator, students need to understand nuances and nitty-gritty of Competition Law for their future roles in various capacities. The internship programme of CCI attracts talents from best of Indian educational institutions located across the country.

  • Eligibility:

    • Second and third year of the Bachelors degree in Law (3 year course after graduation) or Fourth and final year of the five year integrated course in Law and students who have taken 3rd year exam and are entering the 4th year.

    • LLM

  • Dates: Application should reach by 1st of preceding month to the month for which application is intended to be made e.g. for Dec, 2016 application should reach by 1st Nov, 2016.

  • Duration: Internship is normally for a period of one month, commencing on the 1st working day of the month.

3. NHRC Short-term Internship Programme 2025

Besides the regular summer and winter internship programme which are held in May-June and December-January every year, NHRC also offers opportunities throughout the year except during months of May-June and December-January, to students from various streams especially from law stream, to have attachment with the Commission in batches on short-term basis for a period of 15 days.

During the internship, the students are exposed to the functioning of various divisions of the Commission. They are also made aware of the process of complaints being attended to by the Commission as well as other issues being taken up. Allowing them interaction with the complainants also is an important feature.

  • Eligibility: Applications are invited from eligible students of the entire country. Eligibility and selection criteria will be as follows:-

    • Students studying in 3rd year and onwards of an integrated 5 year PG course

    • Students studying in 3rd/final year of graduation course

    • Students of any semester/year of any post-graduate degree course

    • Students of any semester/year of any post-graduate diploma course

    • Students who are research scholars in any stream

  • Dates: July & Sept

  • Duration: Internship is normally for a period of one month, commencing on the 1st working day of the month.

  • Stipend: All the student interns successfully completing the internship would receive a stipend of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only)

4. MEA Internships Programme 2025

Ministry of External Affairs is launching the third edition of the MEA Internships Programme for the year 2025. The second edition of the programme is aimed towards continuing the aim of the Ministry to bring in more focus on MEA to provide value to the interns; to ensure better gender inclusivity and to increase diversity in terms of qualifications, domicile and socio-economic status amongst the cohort of interns engaged by the Ministry.

  • Eligibility: Internships at MEA headquarters shall generally be open to Indian citizens with a minimum educational qualification of a graduate degree from a recognized university at the time of applying Internships shall also be open to students who are presently in the final year of their graduation, where an internship is a mandatory part of their final year curriculum. Age of the candidates should not exceed 25 years as on 31 December of the year of internship.

  • Dates: Every year, internships will be offered in two terms of six months each viz. April to September and October to March.

  • Duration: Each intern will be engaged for a minimum period of one month and a maximum period of three months.

  • No. of Interns: A maximum of 30 interns will be engaged by the Ministry during each term.

  • Stipend: An honorarium of INR 10,000 per month will be paid to each intern to defray basic costs.

5. MeitY Digital India Internship Scheme 2025

For the larger benefit of the student community and with a view to enrich the management/ implementation of its various schemes/programmes, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has decided to notify these “Internship Guidelines”, to provide a framework for engagement of Interns for a limited period.

  • Eligibility: Indian students from recognized universities in India who have secured at least 60% marks in the last held degree or certificate examination and pursuing: LL.B

  • Dates: May 2025

  • Location: New Delhi

  • Stipend: A token stipend of Rs.10,000/- per month would be paid to an Intern subject to satisfactory performance, duly certified by his Supervisor/Mentor.

6. NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2025

The scheme is expected to provide valuable feedback with a fresh perspective through studies/projects undertaken by the students on themes of interest to NABARD.

The broad objective of SIS 2023-24 will be to assess/gauge the impact of various NABARD interventions at the ground level. The SIS 2023-24 scheme will also serve as an exercise for documentation of success stories of NABARD’s projects/programs/schemes/activities at the field level.

  • Eligibility: Students pursuing a post-graduate degree (having completed the first year) in Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agribusiness, Economics, Social Sciences, and Management from Institutes/ Universities of repute or Students pursuing 5 years of integrated courses including Law and in 4th year of their course and Indian Students studying abroad are eligible for SIS 2025.

  • Dates: April

  • Stipend: Rs. 18000/- per month + other allowances.

  • Duration: The duration of the internship will be a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum period of 12 weeks.

7. SFIO Internship Programme 2025

The SFIO Internship Programme provides a platform for interaction of talented and young scholars and researchers from academic institutions who are pursuing PG/Research programmes in Economics, Commerce, Law, Management and Computer Forensics as well as professional courses with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India with officers of SFIO, including its regional offices.

  • Eligibility: Students in PG Courses – MBA (finance), Law Students in 4th/5th Years of a 5-year stream with consistent and excellent academic records.

  • Duration: Minimum: One month & Maximum: Two months

  • Dates: April- June

  • Application: The names of the interested students must be sent to the SFIO office (Address given below) in the format as annexed to the official notification, by the sponsoring institution. 8. LLB Internship Programme 2024 in the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law, Govt of India

The Department of Legal Affairs (DOLA) organizes an Internship Programme for young law students and graduates. The purpose of this Programme is to acquaint young law students/ graduates with the working of Department of Legal Affairs by giving training in the field of research & referencing work, court functioning, tendering legal advice in various specialized fields of law such as constitutional & administrative law, finance law, infrastructure law, economic law, labour law, conveyancing, arbitration & contract law etc.

  • Eligibility: Indian students who have passed 2nd year of three-year law degree course and 3rd year of five-year law degree course or persons who have completed law degree course from any recognized college /law school/ university are eligible to apply. Advance knowledge of computer (MS office, infographics, Adobe, etc.) will be preferred

  • Duration: Duration of internship ordinarily remains for a period of one month and shall commence from the first working day of every month unless specified.

  • No. of interns: Maximum 50 candidates will be invited each consecutive months’ Internship until all invited (and shortlisted as per guidelines) applications received are covered. Shortlisting details will be communicated through Internship Portal / email.

  • Location: Each selected intern shall be deployed with officers/ Sections at Main Secretariat, New Delhi / Central Agency Section at Supreme Court/ Litigation HC Section at Delhi and Branch Secretariats at Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru.

  • Stipend: The Interns may be given an honorarium of Rs. 1000 / – on completion of their internship.

9. Internship Opportunity at Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research (ILDR)

Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research (ILDR) seeks to motivate, train, create interest and enhance capacity building in legislative drafting, legal research and training through multi-track initiatives across Law, Policy and regulation.

  • Eligibility: ILDR offers Internship to students of law in 5 years integrated LL.B. Course, 3 years LL.B. Course and 3 years B.A. (Law) Course.

  • Duration: Duration of Internship shall commence from the date of joining for a period of one month and upto a maximum three months, as decided by the Competent Authority and can be renewed for one more term of either description.

  • Stipend: No remuneration, allowance or expense shall be paid or reimbursed to the selected candidates by ILDR under the scheme and no employment liability shall be undertaken by ILDR.

10. LLB Internship Programme 2024 in the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice

Department of Justice (DoJ) organizes Internship Programme for young law students for doing internship. The purpose of this Programme is to well acquaint young law students with the working of Department of Justice by giving training in the field of research & referencing work, in various specialized areas of justice delivery, such as Access to Justice (Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu, Legal Aid, probono Legal Services), e-Courts services, Fast Track Special Courts, National Mission for Justice Delivery & Legal Reforms and CSS for Development of lnfrastructure Facilities in the District and Subordinate Judiciary.

  • Eligibility: Indian students who have completed 2nd year of study and have written the examination to enter 3rd year or studying in the 3rd year of three-year degree course or the students studying in the 4th year who have written examination to enter 5th year or studying in the 5th year of five-year degree course.

  • Duration: Duration of intemship ordinarily remain for a period of one month (four weeks).

  • No. of interns: The maximum number of interns to be allowed in a given monthly slots will be 10 candidates only subject to requirement of the Department. Orders of the Competent authority in this regard will be final.

  • Stipend: The interns shall be given an honorarium of Rs. 5000/- on completion of their internship.

11. FSSAI Internship 2025

In the Third year of its existence, the FSSAI Internship Scheme is being offered to provide learning opportunities to young talent in the field of Foods and Nutrition, through a mutually beneficial Inter Industry-Academia association.

  • Eligibility: Students only pursuing a full-time Graduate/Post Graduate Degree/higher degree from a Recognized Institute within India/ abroad, in Bachelor/Master of Law.- Only for FSSAI (HQ)

  • Duration: Internships will be available throughout the year at different points of time, Internships will be offered for a minimum duration of 02 months which may be extended to a maximum period of 06 months. No internship of duration less than two months will be offered.

  • Stipend: A stipend of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) for the entire internship period will be given to the deserving Interns on the recommendation of the Office/Division that they are attached with by the respective FSSAI (HQ)/Regional Offices/Laboratories.
