Surana and Surana Judex 2.0 National Human Rights Law Moot Court Competition

About the competition :

Surana & Surana Judex 2.0 National Human Rights Law Moot Court Competition is being organized by Kalinga University in association with Surana & Surana International Attorneys, Chennai. The competition aims to promote learning and the development of jurisprudence in the field of Human Rights law. It provides a platform for discussions on Human Rights law developments and enhances research, writing, and advocacy skills. The event is scheduled to have online rounds on 6th & 7th July 2024 and offline rounds on 17th August 2024 at Kalinga University Campus, Raipur.

Mode of Competition : Hybrid

Eligibility :

• The team members need to be undergraduate students studying law or its equivalent at a recognized University/School/Institution. Moreover, multiple teams from the same University/College are allowed to participate, encouraging wider representation in the event.

• Each Team shall consist of 2 speakers and 1 researcher (Minimum 2 Team Members)

How to Register :

• Interested students shall register themselves online through their website.

• The registration fee for the competition is 2000 Rs. per team.

• Last date of Registration : 20th June 2024

• Last Date of Payment of the Fee: 20th June 2024

• Last date of Soft Copy Memorial Submission: 25th June 2024

• Last date of Hard Copy Memorial Submission: 16th August 2024

• Inaugural Session & Preliminary Rounds: 06th July 2024 (Online)

• Octa Finals/Quarter Finals: 07th July 2024 (Online)

• Draw of Lots & Semi-Final Rounds: 17th August 2024 (Offline)

• Final Rounds and Valedictory Session: 17th August 2024 (Offline)

Awards :

• Winning Team: Rs. 21,000

• Runner-up Team: Rs. 11,000

• Best Memorial: Rs. 8,000

• Best Student Advocate: Rs. 6,000

• Best Researcher: Rs. 4,000

• Certificate of Participation will be given to all participants.
