About Internet Freedom Foundation:
The Internet Freedom Foundation is a NGO born out of the SaveTheInternet movement to promote the rights of internet users. People from various fields including law, technology, policy, journalism, design work together to protect internet users by means of campaigns, legal interventions, technology, etc and by aiding policymakers through research. The NGO is inviting applications for internships with NGO’s policy team for those interested in Digital rights and policymaking.
Location: New Delhi, India
Mode of Internship: Offline
Duration: The internship is for a period of three months.
Stipend: INR 10,000/- per month.
Eligibility:
Anyone interested in digital rights and policymaking may apply for this internship.
Preference will be given to those having a background in public policy, law, social sciences or economics.
Tasks:
Interns would be required to assist the policy team with tracking parliament and provide writing and research support. The policy team mainly handles issues relating to sectoral digitalisation, surveillance, platform governance and data protection.
