National Essay Writing Competition by NLUJA, Assam (Submit by June 5, 2024)
ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
The Centre for Environmental Law, Advocacy and Research (CELAR) at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam is organizing a National Essay Writing Competition, 2024 in collaboration with WWF - India (Assam State Office) to commemorate World Environment Day 2024. This competition is being conducted by CELAR in pursuance of its mission to bring awareness about environmental concerns and strengthen the jurisprudence on environmental law. It is a great opportunity for participants to showcase their writing skills and learn about various environmental issues.
THEME:
The theme of the competition is "Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience."
DEADLINE:
The last date for submission is June 05, 2024 by 11:59 PM.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Word Limit: 2000- 3000 words.
Submissions must not contain any personal identification mark or detail.
Co- authorship is allowed upto 2 authors.
Manuscript should not have a similarity index of more than 10%.
Submissions must be in word document.
Citations must be according to Bluebook 20th Edition
Text must be in Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.5, justified alignment.
Footnotes must be in size 10, single line spacing.

Winner: INR 4,000 + Publication in LEX TERRA
Runners-up: INR 3,000 + Publication in LEX TERRA
