About the competition :

The LexPacto’s 1st National Moot Court Competition will be held from the 9th to the 11th of August, 2024 via Virtual Mode. The main aim of the competition is to promote commitment towards experimental learning and to facilitate students in cumulating immense knowledge. The Moot Court Competition develops coherent legal insight among students and is essential to develop practical skills.

Mode of Competition : Online

Important dates :

• Date of opening of Registrations : May 25, 2024

• Date of Releasing Moot Problem : May 25, 2024

• Last date of Registration : June 30, 2024

• Allotment of Team Code: July 15, 2024

• Last date for submission of Memorials : July 28, 2024

• Researcher's Test: 9th August, 2024

• Prelims Round : 10th August, 2024

• Quarters Round : 10th August, 2024

• Finals Round : 11th August, 2024

• Oral Rounds: August 10 and Aug 11, 2024.

Eligibility :

The competition is open for all students pursuing Five Year Integrated and Three Year LLB courses.

Team Composition :

The team shall comprise of 2 speakers OR 2 speakers and 1 Researcher

How to Register :

• Registrations can be done by filling up the registration form.

• The registration shall be considered only when the Registration Fee has been paid successfully and Google form is filed.

• The participants will receive an official approval mail from the organizing committee within 48 hours of their registration.

• The organizing committee shall communicate the Team Point of Contact (POC) for all the necessary communication.

• Registration fee (Rs. 4500/ team) once paid is non-refundable.

Awards :

Winners: Trophy and Rs. 20,000 with Books and One LexPacto's Certificate Course + Internship Opportunity + Certificate of Award.

Runner Up: Trophy and Rs 10,000 with Books and One LexPacto's Certificate Course + Internship Opportunity + Certificate of Award.

2nd Runner Up: Rs 5,000 and One LexPacto's Certificate Course + Certificate of Award.

Best Speaker (Male): Rs 5,000 and Best Speaker Certificate

Best Speaker (Female): Rs 5,000 and Best Speaker Certificate

Best Memorial: Rs 5,000 and Best Memorial Certificate
