Judicial Internship Opportunity at the Office of Justice K.V. Viswanathan, Supreme Court

About the Opportunity:

The Office of Hon’ble Justice K.V. Viswanathan, Supreme Court of India is inviting applications for the long term internship programme. This internship is a great opportunity for those seeking to gain experience of the working of the Supreme Court and develop their research skills. Interns will gain exposure to the workings of judicial office in the Supreme Court. The internship programme is from Sept, 2024 to May, 2025.

Duration:

One month starting from the 1st working day of the month (extendable on the basis of performance and availability).

Deadline:

Applications must be submitted 5 weeks prior to the intended internship month.

Eligibility:

1. Undergraduate law students pursuing a 5 year law degree currently in their 3rd year or above and students pursuing a 3 year law degree currently in their 2nd year or above.

2. Postgraduate law students.

2. Selected students will be intimidated via email 2- 4 weeks prior to the start of the internship.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of case briefs, legal arguments and relevant case laws

2. Conducting legal research and drafting.

3. Attending court proceedings and meetings.
