ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
National Law University, Meghalaya is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Professors and Associate Professors at its campus in Shillong. The NLU was inaugurated in July 2023 and is one of the best law schools in India. Their mission is to bring transformation in the Indian legal system and introduce legal education reforms.
POSITION:
Assistant Professors and Associate Professors
NO. OF POSTS:
4 posts per position.
SALARY:
Assistant Professor:
Salary will be as per the Central University 7th Pay Commission Level- 12.
(Approx. 1,49,840/- per month)
Associate Professor:
Salary will be as per the Central University 7th Pay Commission Level- 13A.
(Approx. 2,42,720/- per month)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Assistant Professors (Grade II):
Age limit is 38 years
Candidates shall have a minimum 60% or 7.00 CGPA in preceding degrees.
Shall have a PhD from a Nationally reputed University/Institute or from a foreign University/Institution ranked top 500 in the World University Ranking.
Three years of experience post PhD in a reputed University/Institute.
Six publications in reputed journals
Experience of conducting any funded project.
Associate Professor:
Age limit is 42 years
Candidates shall have a minimum 60% or 7.00 CGPA in preceding degrees.
Shall have a PhD from a Nationally reputed University/Institute or from a foreign University/Institution ranked top 500 in the World University Ranking.
Six years of experience post PhD in a reputed University/Institute.
Ten publications in reputed journals
Experience of conducting any funded project.
Published edited volume or monograph from a reputable publisher.
Supervised PhD (preferably two).
