Call for Papers: NLU Tripura Journal of Law and Policy (NLUT-JLP)

ABOUT THE JOURNAL:

The “NLU Tripura Journal of Law and Policy” is the flagship journal of NLU Tripura which is published annually. The primary aim is to provide a platform for the legal scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to contribute research to the issues surrounding contemporary legal and policy matters address the challenges faced by

the legal and policy frameworks at local, national, and international levels.

THEME:

Topics should be related to contemporary legal and policy issues.

DEADLINE:

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and published annually.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1. The submissions can be made in the form of long articles, short notes, case comment/Legislative Comments and book reviews.

2. The cover letter must be accompanied with the submission.

3. Original manuscripts with no plagiarism and copyright issues.

4. Abstract must be submitted of not more than 300 words with declaration of originality.

5. Word limit for manuscripts:

• Research Articles: 8000-10000 words.

• Case Comments: 3000 words.

• Legislative Reviews: 3000 words.

• Book Reviews: 2000-3000 words.

• Interviews: 3000 words.

6. The submission must include not more than 6 keywords.

7. Selections will be based on a peer-review process.

8. Acknowledgement of receipt within 4 weeks of submission.

FORMATTING GUIDELINES:

1. Cover letter must contain the name of the author, title of the submission and the email address of the author.

2. The Title must be in Times New Roman, size 16 and center aligned.

3. No biographical information of the author should be there in the manuscript.

4. Text- Times New Roman, size 12, justified alignment, line spacing 1.5.

5. Headings- Times New Roman, size14, bold and center aligned.

6. Sub- headings- Times New Roman, size 12, bold, italicized, justified alignment.

7. Footnotes- Times New Roman, size 10, justified alignment, line spacing 1.0.

8. Uniform Citations in the OSCOLA Format (4th Edition).
