Call for Papers: 2nd Victim Support Asia Conference by NLU, Delhi (9th- 10th Nov, 2024)

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

2nd Victim Support Asia Conference is being organized by The Centre for Criminology and Victimology (CCV) at National Law University Delhi from 9th-10th November 2024 in collaboration with Victim Support Asia. Victim Support Asia (VSA) is the first organization in Asia which works for promoting awareness of victim rights and supporting victims of crime across Asia. The Conference aims to examine various victim support strategies used across Asia and setting the agenda for future developments in victim support strategies and policies across the world. For this purpose, NLU Delhi is inviting abstracts for paper presentation at the Conference.

THEME:

The theme of the conference is "Mapping Victim Support Strategies in Asian Region" and the sub- themes may include:

• Victim Advocacy

• Victim Assistance

• Victim Protection

• Legal Aid

• Responses from Criminal justice functionaries

• Compensatory and Restorative justice.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Last date for Abstract Submission: 15th August

• Opening of Registrations: 1st September

• Last date for Registration: 7th September

• Last date for Submission of Full Papers: 15th October

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:

• Word Limit for abstract is 300 words

• Abstract must be in doc./docx. Format

• Text must be in Times New Roman, italic, font size 12, 1.0 line spacing.

• It shall contain the issues raised with clear indication of the objectives, methodology, expected outcome and findings.

• Identity should not be revealed in the abstract.

• Co- authorship allowed a maximum of 2 authors.

• Evaluation Criteria will be originality, relevance and methodology used.

HOW TO SUBMIT?

• Abstracts must be submitted at email ccvconference@nludelhi.ac.in

• All co- authors have to register themselves separately by paying registration fees.

• Intimation of selection of abstracts will be given within 15 days of the submission i.e., 1 Sept, 2024.

• After selection of abstract, payment link will be separately shared.
