About the competition :

The 6th International Arbitration Moot 2024 by SVKM’s NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law is on 13th -15th September, focusing on International Arbitration Law. The Proposition is crafted by Ms. Pooja Tidke from Parinam Law Associates. The theme of the competition is International Trade law.

Mode of Competition: Offline

Important dates:

• Last date of Registration: 20th June 2024

• Release of Proposition: 20th June 2024

• Last date of provisional registration: 20th June 2024

• Last date of final registration: 30th June 2024

• Last date for Clarifications: July 5th 2024
  

Eligibility:

• Students in undergraduate or postgraduate law programs can participate.

• Each college/university can register only one team.

• A team can consist of 2-3 members.

• Roles: In a two-member team, both are Speakers. In a three-member team, two are Speakers, and one is a Researcher.

• No additional member or team coach is allowed to accompany the team.

How to register :

• Teams should fill out the Google form for provisional registration before June 15, 2024, 23:59 IST.

• After provisional registration, teams need to complete the registration form and pay the fee.

• The registration fee is INR 1,500 for National Teams and USD 20 for International Teams for the memorial qualification round.

• Qualified teams for oral rounds will be charged an additional fee covering accommodation charges, participation fee, and GST.

• Final registration for the memorial qualification round must be done by June 25, 2024, 23:59 IST, following the provided procedure.

• The registration fee for the memorial qualification round is INR 1,500 for National Teams and USD 20 for International Teams.

• If teams qualify for the oral rounds, an additional registration fee will be charged. This fee will cover accommodation charges, participation fee, and GST.

• Detailed information regarding the additional fee will be shared with the participants soon.

  
  

Awards :

• Best Team: INR 60,000

• Runner-up: INR 45,000

• Best Memorial (Claimant): INR 20,000

• Best Memorial (Respondent): INR 20,000

• Best Speaker: INR 20,000

• The Best Team and Best Speaker winners will have the opportunity to intern at Stratage Law Partners.
