3rd P.N. Mathur Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2024

About the Competition:

3rd P.N. Mathur Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2024 is being organized by the School of Law, Justice and Governance, Gautam Buddha University, Uttar Pradesh on 14th and 15th Sept, 2024. The moot proposition is based on criminal law and digital data protection act. The competition aims at providing an opportunity for students to showcase their advocacy and research skills and delve into the intricacies of criminal law and data protection.

Mode of Competition: Offline

Location: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Eligibility:

1. Students pursuing a 3 year or 5 year law degree from any recognized institute are eligible to participate.

2. Only one team per institute is allowed.

Team Composition:

1. Each team may consist of either 2 members (2 speakers) or 3 members (2 speakers and 1 researcher).

2. Only 2 observers will be allowed per team with additional payment of Rs. 500/-.

How to Register?

1. Teams are required to fill the registration form by 10th Aug, 2024.

2. Registration fees: Rs 3500/- per team along with Rs. 1000/- per day per team accommodation charges.

3. Teams must attach payment receipt and NOC along with the registration form.

4. One hard copy of registration form shall be attached while submitting hard copies of memorials.

5. Teams are required to submit 5 copies of memorials from each side by 5th Sept, 2024.

1. Last Date for Registration: 10th Aug, 2024

2. Last Date for Seeking Clarifications: 15th Aug, 2024

3. Release of Clarifications 16th Aug, 2024

4. Last Date of Memorial Submission: 5th Sept, 2024

5. Inaugural Ceremony: 14th Sept, 2024

6. Preliminary Round, Quarter Finals: 14th Sept, 2024

7. Semi - Finals & Final Round: 15th Sept, 2024

9. Valedictory Ceremony 15th Sept, 2024

Awards:

1. Winner: INR 40,000 + Trophy + 1 Year Subscription from SCC Online worth INR 81,000.

2. Runner-Up: INR 30,000 + Trophy + 1 Year Subscription from EBC learning worth INR 43,500.

3. Best Speaker: INR 7000 + Trophy + Certificate

4. Best Memorial: INR 7000 + Trophy + Certificate

5. Participants: 1-month access to SCC ONLINE Web edition worth - INR 1099/-
