2nd National Level Pro Bono Drafting Competition, 2024 by ProBono India
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Pro Bono India in association with Pro Bono Club, GNLU, Gandhinagar is organizing the 2nd National Level Pro Bono Drafting Competition, 2024 on June 9, 2024. Pro Bono India was established in 2016 and is mentored by N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, IIM Bangalore. It works with an aim of promoting legal awareness and providing legal aid services to those who cannot afford it. The Pro Bono Drafting Competition is organized to help students build and showcase their drafting skills in preparing PIL, RTI and Consumer Complaint.
MODE OF COMPETITION:
Online Mode through Google Forms.
DEADLINE:
Interested students can apply by 30th May 2024.
ELIGIBILITY:
Any student studying in a 3-year or 5-year UG law programme from any recognized college/ university.
GUIDELINES:
The Competition is focused on PIL Drafting, RTI Drafting and Consumer Complaint Drafting
Each participant is required to prepare Only One Draft in handwritten form only.
Drafting problems will be given via email on June 9 at 10.25 am.
The time limit for preparing a draft is 10: 30 am to 12 noon.
Handwritten Drafts shall be uploaded on Google form shared via email on or before 12 noon.
Evaluation Parameters: Format, Content, Professionalism.
The result will be declared by June 25.
AWARDS:
Winner and Runner up award will be given in each category (PIL/ RTI/ Consumer Complaint) separately.
First Position- Cash prize of Rs 2000/-, Certificate of Merit, Memento.
Second Position- Cash Prize Rs. 1,000/-, Certificate of Merit, Memento.
E- certificate of Participation to all the participants.
