About the Competition:

Amity Law School, Noida in association with Competition Commission of India is organizing its 1st National Moot court Competition, 2024 on 22nd and 23rd August, 2024. The moot problem revolves round competition law. This competition offers a great opportunity for students to learn the recent trends in competition law and showcase their advocacy and research skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate law courses are eligible for participation.

2. Cross- Institutional teams are allowed.

3. Teams must comprise either 2 members (2 speakers) or 3 members (2 speakers and 1 researcher).

Important Dates:

1. Last date to register: 16 August, 2024

2. Last date for seeking clarifications: 16 August

3. Release of Clarifications: 17 August

4. Memorial Submission Deadline: 18 August

5. Researchers Test: 21 August

6. Prelims: 22 August

7. Semi Finals and Finals: 23 August

How to Register?

1. Teams shall register themselves by submitting registration forms through Google forms.

2. ID Proof must be submitted along with the registration form.

3. Registration Fees is Rs. 3000/- per team excluding accommodation charges.

Awards:

1. Winning Team: Rs 50,000/- cash prize and an internship with the Centre for Competition Law and Economics.

2. Runners-Up Team: Cash prize of INR 30,000/-.

3. Best Speaker: Cash prize of INR 5,000.

4. Best Memorial: Cash prize of INR. 10,000

5. Best Researcher: Cash prize of INR 5,000/-

6. All participating teams will be provided with a certificate of participation.
