1st International Moot Court Competition by The Legal Lock
ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
The Legal Lock is organizing its inaugural 1st International Moot Court Competition, 2024 on 22nd June to 23rd June, 2024 in collaboration with Singhania and Co LLP, Delhi and London Office, Triumphus Law offices, Lucknow. This competition is a great opportunity for law students to delve into the complex issues of international law and sharpen their legal skills. The moot problem deals with a war crime trial.
MODE OF COMPETITION:
The competition will be conducted in virtual mode via Zoom/ Google Meet/ Microsoft Teams.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students pursuing a 3 year or 5 year undergraduate degree in law from any recognized university/ institute can participate.
Team can consist of either 3 members (2 speakers and 1 researcher) or 2 members (both designated as speakers).
The official language of the competition is English.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Last date for registration: 14 June, 2024
Last date for seeking clarification: 5 June, 2024
Release of Clarifications: 10 June, 2024
Memorial Submission: 16 June, 2024
Researcher’s Test: 20 June, 2024
Date of Competition: 22- 23 June, 2024
HOW TO REGISTER?
Registration shall be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To get themselves registered, the teams shall fill the Google Form and pay required fees for registration.
The Participants shall be intimated regarding completing the registration process within 24hrs via mail.
Teams successfully registered shall be allotted a unique team code.
Memorials shall be submitted by the team in the form of Pdf and Doc files from both sides at legallocktask@gmail.com.
REGISTRATION FEES:
For Indian Students: Rs 3500/- per team
For International Students: $60/- per team
AWARDS:
1. Cash Prize:
Winning Team: Rs 10000/- + Trophy
Runners Up Team: Rs 7000/- + Trophy
Best Memorial: Rs 5000/-
Best Advocate: Rs 3000/-
