13TH RC CHOPRA NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION,2024 (28th- 29th September)
ABOUT:
St. Soldier Law College, Jalandhar is organizing 13th R.C Chopra Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2024 from 28th to 29th September 2024. Their aim is to bring students from different states together and let them compete in a fast paced and challenging professional environment and provide exposure to law students on important socio-economic and legal issues.

Jalandhar, Punjab
DATE AND VENUE:
In St. Soldier Law College Jalandhar, Punjab from 28th September to 29th september 2024
ELIGIBILITY:
Students pursuing a three year or five year LL.B course are eligible.
RULES:
Each team shall consist of three members, comprising 2 speakers and 1 researcher.
Only the English language is allowed.
Teams are not allowed to disclose their institute or college’s identity.
Team Codes will be provided to each team.
Soft copy of Memorial must be emailed with the subject “ Memorial for Team Code” in Ms Word & PDF format.
The team must send 4 hard copies each from both the sides of their memorials by 15/09/2024.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Last date for registration: 20th August 2024
Inauguration, Draw of lots, Preliminary round, pre-quarter finals and quarter-finals: 28th September 2024
Semi final, grand finale & Valedictory program: 29th September 2024
Last date of submission of the memorial (soft copy): 5th September 2024
Last date of submission of the memorial (hardcopy): 15th September 2024
Sightseeing with wishes of participants: 29th September 2024
AWARDS AND PRIZES:
Winning Team: Rs.21000/-+ trophy
Runner-Up: Rs. 11000/- + trophy
Best student advocate: Rs. 5100/- + trophy
2nd Best Student Advocate: Rs. 3100/- + trophy
Best Researcher (based on the evaluation of memorial): Rs. 5100/- + trophy
2nd Best Researcher (based on the evaluation of memorial): Rs. 3100/- + trophy
REGISTRATION FEE:
Rs. 2000/- without accommodation
Rs. 4000/- with three-day accommodation.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
The participants are required to register as a team of 3 students and do payment of registration fees.
The participants have to email a scanned copy of registration form, travel form, receipt of payment on stsoldiermootcourtsociety@gmail.com by 20/08/2024.
Without an Authorization letter from the college or institute registration is not allowed.
Confirmation email will be sent by the organizing committee after verification.
